Truck Driver Position

Due to our ever-growing business and growth within our industry, Brycon Civil is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team based in Tamworth, NSW. Most of the work will be between Tamworth and Armidale as well as the North West and Mid North Coast, so a willingness to work away and stay away from home is a must.
We pride ourselves on a service of excellence as we aim to exceed our clients' expectations on every job we undertake.
Immediate start in the New Year.
Requirements to be successful: An unrestricted HC licence preferable Minimum of 3 years demonstrated truck driving experience Experience in road construction, earthworks, road stabilisation, and drainage is ideal A good driving history with the ability to provide your RMS driving record A safety-first attitude Understanding of Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management, and NHV logbook requirements Completion of all necessary paperwork – job cards, pre-starts, daily plant inspections, WHS Documentation: Daily Plant/Truck Maintenance Hands-on approach Exceptional level of initiative and self-motivation Knowledge of working to Transport for NSW, Local, and State Government specifications High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to comprehend and follow instructions Ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Compliance with WHS, Quality, and Environmental management systems Ability to work as part of a team Experience working with Transport NSW is highly regarded Covid 19 Double Vaccination Certificate Relevant RII tickets and licences Strong reporting skills Strong skills in time management and self-motivation Willingness to work outside the truck if required High range communication skills – verbal and written, good listening skills Ability to operate in a high-pressure environment Must be trustworthy, take pride in their work, and look after the truck What's on offer for you: Full-time permanent positions for the right applicants Above award rates available and negotiable based on the applicant's experience Living away paid depending on where you reside and need to work Allowances This is an excellent opportunity to work with a stable and supportive employer, where you will be recognised for your high level of skill and contribution to the team.
