Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic blue trucks to deliver for customers? As our Medium RigidTruck Driver, you'll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You might not be working from home, but you'll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn't get better than that!
You'll be Safely loading your truck with freight for your deliveries with teammates at the facilityCompleting your own daily vehicle safety checkDriving our MR trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-upsReturning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups About you You're a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You're passionate about making a difference in the community.
You'll also need to Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent ResidentHold a medium rigid vehicle licenseHR and/or Forklift licences advantageousBe fit enough to load and unload freight items of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck.Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibilityHave a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skillsYou will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or lessBe prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
