This full-time role will involve the transportation of goods and materials between our internal departments, as well as occasional deliveries to clients across the region using our well-maintained trucks.
The successful candidate will play a vital part in our customer service chain, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our products.What you'll be doingSafely operating and manoeuvring trucks of various sizes to deliver goods on time and in good conditionConducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthinessMaintaining accurate delivery records and logsAdhering to all relevant road transport regulations and safety protocolsProviding exceptional customer service to our clientsAssisting with loading and unloading of goods as requiredWhat we're looking forA valid Medium Rigid (MR) driver's licenceForklift license; ability to load and unload trucksA pleasant communicator with a strong customer service focusAt least 2 years of experience driving trucks in a commercial or industrial settingA strong commitment to safety and a proven track record of safe drivingExcellent time management and organisational skillsThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamA keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate recordsWhat we offerAt Plastec Australia, we pride ourselves on providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
