About the role
We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Truck Driver, at our Caloundra location.
Reporting to the Senior Store Manager, this is a casual position.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the General Retail Award, level 2.
You will successfully:
Undertake the pickup and delivery of goods as per instructions from the relevant Family Store Manager and in accordance with the schedule, as per all WHS manual handling procedures/protocols.
Provide excellent service as a primary customer contact for the Family Store.
Maintain stock to required standards and ensure goods are stored and rotated appropriately.
Understand and determine the value of brands and quality products and carry out procedures related to TSA pickup protocols.
Provide retail floor assistance as needed including sorting, pricing and moving stock.
Maintain a safe, clean and uncluttered workspace.
Operate the company vehicle in a safe and effective manner in order to minimise the risk of injury, property damage, loss of life and ensure appropriate maintenance/service and cleanliness of vehicle inside/outside.
You will have (Requisite Skills & Qualifications):
Minimum 2 yrs experience in driving/operating commercial vehicles.
Previous experience in a customer facing role.
Current valid Driver's Licence.
First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
A good level of fitness to carry out the duties of the position.
This position will require physical ability to stand, sit and walk for long periods time.
The role will require you to push, pull, lift, carry, restrain stock and climb ladders etc.
