Matrix Steel is looking to appoint a full-time Truck Driver to join our Bundaberg Operations team. This role will require a hands-on person who is willing to operate our machinery when delivery days are quiet.

RESPONSIBILITIES Review vehicle load sheets Secure load, prepare manifest and assist loading when required Deliver to customers and place onsite as required Capture pictures of items delivered for POD Maintain vehicle and driver logs Liaise with despatch and customers on delivery issues and delays Keep a clean truck at all times and ensure maintenance is up to date Operate machinery as required Strict adherence to our critical safety rules and contributing to a safe working environment ABOUT YOU ESSENTIAL - HR License ESSENTIAL - Forklift Ticket DESIRABLE - Hiab Crane experience. Willingness to work local and regional runs Flexibility and willingness to operate machinery - we will train you! Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers' needs Good communicator, both written and verbal Enjoys working autonomously and as part of a team A passion to deliver excellent customer service
