Flavorite is undergoing a high level of growth and to continue our focus on excellence in all facets of operations, we are looking for an experienced Truck Driver to join our growing distribution team based at our Tatura location, which currently employs up to 350 employees.
About the Opportunity: We have an opportunity for a Truck Driver to join our Distribution team in a full time capacity working Monday to Friday.
This shift is expected to usually start at 9:00 am and work through to 5:30 pm, where some flexibility will be required as times may vary on occasion.
As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of produce and other materials between our Tatura and Mansfield locations, where you will also be responsible for loading and unloading the three axle rigid vehicle with a Forklift at each location.
We are looking for a true team player and someone with a demonstrated ability to plan, organise and coordinate their workload as well as the ability to follow instructions and procedures.
In this role you will be required to: Drive a three axle rigid truck Complete all dispatch paperwork per procedure Check that transported goods match the accompanying paperwork Unload and load truck by use of Forklift Assist with distribution tasks where required including acting as a back-up Forklift Operator where required Complete pre-start checks for both Truck and Forklift prior to use The successful candidate will have: Previous experience unloading and loading trucks Ability to work autonomously Highly safety oriented Why work for us?
