Key Responsibilities: Operate heavy trucks and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
Transport goods and materials to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Load and unload goods using appropriate handling techniques and equipment.
Secure loads in accordance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
Follow traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
Ensure compliance with company and legal regulations regarding vehicle and driver responsibilities.
Report vehicle maintenance issues and ensure that trucks are maintained according to company standards.
Collaborate with other team members to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any delivery-related issues.
Maintain and complete all required documentation accurately.
Key Requirements: An unrestricted MC Drivers license.
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Truck Driver / MC Driver.
Excellent driving record.
Current national police check and driver history report.
Forklift ticket (advantageous).
Current Basic Fatigue Management Certification (or willingness to obtain).
Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
Ability to work independently while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
Successful completion of a pre-employment medical examination.
Dangerous goods driver license or willingness to obtain.
