Truck Driver (Hc And Forklift Licence)

Brickworks NSW are seeking an experienced HC Truck Driver with Crane Licence to join our masonry plant at our Oakdale Industrial Estate site in Horsley Park, NSW. Reporting to the Yard & Transport Manager, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service through the safe, efficient, and timely delivery or pickup of Brickwork's products.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Drive vehicles within specified capacities to transport materials to and from destinations such as railway stations, plants, residences, offices, or within industrial yards. Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures. Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as fuel, oil, water, tyres, lights, or brakes, to ensure vehicles are in proper working condition. Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles. Load and unload trucks. Maintain records for goods delivered or loaded and verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers. Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements, in accordance with regulations. Read maps and follow written or verbal geographic directions. Use and maintain tools, electronic devices, or equipment found on commercial vehicles, such as weighing or measuring devices. Report delays, accidents, or other situations to bases or other vehicles using provided equipment. Success Requirements:
Current HC Licence and Forklift Licence. Capable of driving both Rigid and Heavy Combination vehicles. Excellent customer service skills. Good knowledge of New South Wales road network. Ability to prioritise tasks. Strong problem-solving skills. Good time management and organisational skills. Experience in the delivery of building products (desirable). Why join us?
