Truck Driver For Arkle Farms

Seeking a Full-time Truck Driver for a major farming enterprise in Western Australia, with a salary of $75,000 - $80,000 a year.
Arkle Farms is a leading agricultural company based in Western Australia, owned by the Cowan family. The company operates a mixed farming enterprise across four farms, managing 36,600 arable hectares. The company's philosophy is to build a highly sustainable and productive farming enterprise using regenerative farming techniques.
**Job Responsibilities:**
• Manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading
• Loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices
• Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles
• Making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely
• Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight
• Ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage
• Verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods and obtaining certification of deliveries
**Essential Requirements:**
• Hands on and show of commitment
• Successful completion of relevant AQF Cert II or equivalent and at least 1 year (20+hpw) relevant experience
• Proven post-qualification experience in a similar role or ability to adapt and display skills required
• Proven ability and willingness to work as part of a team
• Ability to work autonomously, without supervision
