The Opportunity
Due to ongoing business growth, we are looking for an excavator operator who has experience excavating around live assets. This position is permanent full-time offering a rewarding remuneration package including regular overtime. Responsibilities include:
Operation of excavators ranging from 2.5 to 8 tonne
Excavating around water, gas or electrical assets
General labouring including site preparation and onsite support
Associate civils including Manhole/Pit alteration with rehabilitation
Your background may be from one of the following:
Pipe maintenance experience such as cleaning, pipe lining, CCTV or plumbing
Civil construction experience
Water or wastewater infrastructure
Or you might be looking to break into the industry, either way we would like to chat with you - We value our people and are ready to invest in you, providing all required training! You will bring:
Valid Drivers Licence
OHS Construction Induction Card (White card)
The ability to work on sites across the Central Coast, Newcastle, Hunter Valley & some travel away work in Regional NSW
Good work ethic and positive work attitude
A strong focus on safety
HR or MR licence
To make sure that you're fully fit to join our team you will also need to pass our pre-employment medical which includes a drug & alcohol test. Please be aware that these roles may require you to enter confined spaces, successful candidates will be provided with certified confined spaces training if required.
