Truck Bodybuilder

Duties:•Dismantle and rebuild heavy vehicle bodies, including truck bodies and parts, subframes and assemblies.
•Install subframes, trays, body accessories, and other structural elements, including articulated equipment.•Perform cutting, shaping, and welding of metals and other materials to create vehicle bodies, using hand tools and welders, oxy and power tools•Diagnose and report structural issues for approval, then perform necessary repairs to comply with Australian standards and company vision.
•Customise and modify vehicle bodies to meet specific client requirements •Inspect and report on defects in vehicle bodies Qualification & Licences:•Relevant trade qualification or three years or more of suitable experience.
•Current driver's licence (Manual) (Desirable)Skills:•Reliable•Able to make own way to work each day•Have attention to detail•Good work ethics•Work well in a small team•Take pride in your work Experience:•At least two to four years of relevant experience.
•Experience as a Vehicle Body Builder is essential.Job Type: Full-timePay: $74,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
