Truck Allocator/Planner

APG Workforce is currently seeking a Truck Allocator/Planner for a well-known poultry manufacturer based in Griffith.
Start Times: Vary between 7:00 am and 8:30 am Shift Length: 8-hour shifts, guaranteed 38 hours per week Pay Rate: $35.86 per hour + Super Employment Type: Potential to transition to permanent employment Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Site Planning and Management team to forecast and allocate orders and kilos, ensuring effective communication with Distribution Allocators Manage load allocation with Transport Companies, documenting any changes, delays, or cancellations for future reference Verify kilos for dispatch by cross-checking customer and transfer orders Allocate transport daily, ensuring accurate record-keeping according to company procedures Confirm allocations with Site Planners and Production Managers to ensure production schedules are met and minimize delays in truck arrival times Follow established procedures to maintain efficiency and prevent disruptions in logistics Essential Skills & Experience: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in software applications and Microsoft Office programs Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to maintain high work standards and follow directions effectively Commitment to workplace safety and promoting safe working practices Strong problem-solving abilities and decisive decision-making skills Quick response time, strong time management, and initiative Excellent attendance record Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident If you have the skills and experience required and are looking for a stable role with potential for long-term growth, we encourage you to apply!
