APG Workforce is currently seeking a Truck Allocator/Planner for a well-known poultry manufacturer based in Griffith.
Start Times: Vary between 7:00 am and 8:30 amShift Length: 8-hour shifts, guaranteed 38 hours per weekPay Rate: $35.86 per hour + SuperEmployment Type: Potential to transition to permanent employmentKey Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Site Planning and Management team to forecast and allocate orders and kilos, ensuring effective communication with Distribution AllocatorsManage load allocation with Transport Companies, documenting any changes, delays, or cancellations for future referenceVerify kilos for dispatch by cross-checking customer and transfer ordersAllocate transport daily, ensuring accurate record-keeping according to company proceduresConfirm allocations with Site Planners and Production Managers to ensure production schedules are met and minimize delays in truck arrival timesFollow established procedures to maintain efficiency and prevent disruptions in logisticsEssential Skills & Experience: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in software applications and Microsoft Office programsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to maintain high work standards and follow directions effectivelyCommitment to workplace safety and promoting safe working practicesStrong problem-solving abilities and decisive decision-making skillsQuick response time, strong time management, and initiativeExcellent attendance recordMust be an Australian Citizen or Permanent ResidentIf you have the skills and experience required and are looking for a stable role with potential for long-term growth, we encourage you to apply!
