About the role
In your new role as a Truck Allocator, you will support the team in:
Site Planning and Management team handles forecasting and allocating orders and kilos, keeping Distribution Allocators updated. Load Allocators and Distribution Management coordinate with transport companies to assign loads, documenting all changes, delays, and cancellations. Confirm kilos to be dispatched by reviewing customer and transfer orders. Allocate transport daily, ensuring all records are kept up to date according to procedure. Communicate confirmed allocations to Site Planners and Production Managers to ensure production schedules align with transport arrival times, minimizing delays. About you
As an experienced Truck Allocator, you'll ensure smooth logistics by coordinating load assignments and maintaining accurate COR documentation within a large organization. You will also bring:
Confidence with various software and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) for efficient scheduling, documentation, and data entry. Able to share information clearly and professionally, both written and spoken, to keep everyone on the same page. Reliability, professionalism, and adherence to instructions to achieve quality results every time. Promotion and adherence to safe work practices, helping maintain a safe environment for all.
