Duties include:Undertaking required duties as stipulated within the CASA regulationsIdentify and record hazards and issuing Notices to Airmen (NOTAM's) in accordance with airport regulationsImplement the requirements of the Wildlife Hazard Management Plans; monitor and report on wildlife activity on aerodrome and conduct bird dispersal on using approved methodsAerodrome Operations including monitoring vehicle and pedestrian traffic on the airport tarmac areas, assistance with terminal security during embarkation / disembarkation of Aircraft, and airside safety, conducting inspections, preparation of accurate logs/reports Monitor and undertake serviceability requirements, routine grounds and infrastructure maintenance of airport infrastructureAssist in the implementation of Aerodrome Emergency Procedures, with a commitment to learn and apply emergency response procedures both airside and landsidePerform any emergency duties associated with the safety of staff and visitors, and the cleanliness of the airport area as requiredVillage Waste Management, Grounds / Utility CleaningAssist other departments from time to time, if required About YouTo join our team, you will be an experienced Aerodrome Reporting Officer with a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others, and a passion to provide quality work and service with a smile, at all times:You will possess: Australian Working RightsVALID Aerodrome Reporting Officer Skill Set certification, including Aeronautical Radio Operator (AROC), Dangerous Goods (DG) and Drug and Alcohol Management Plan (DAMP) trainingVALID C Class HR License (HR advantageous)Ability to pass a comprehensive (Client) Pre-Employment Medical including Instant Drug and Alcohol ScreeningCurrent satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months)Previous experience at a Village preferredThe following qualifications with Camp Facilities such as First Aid and HRWL (LF), (desirable)
