The Role
Troocoo is excited to be partnered with a dynamic and innovative services organisation to recruit a Procurement Business Analyst on a full-time, permanent basis. This position is located in Brisbane's Southern Suburbs, offers free parking onsite, and flexible working arrangements.
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the Principal Business Analyst will assist with both BAU operations and projects, focusing on problem definition, process modeling, business case development, and supporting workstreams such as software development, testing, and organisational change management.
Key responsibilities include:
Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to ensure timely, high-quality completion of business analysis activities. Examine, evaluate, and accurately interpret documents and business processes. Support the establishment and ongoing maintenance of the BA capability roadmap and oversee designated uplift areas of practice. Assist with the development of BA practices, including the development of tools, templates, and frameworks that result in high-quality BA outputs and efficiencies. Actively participate in risks and issue management for BA deliverables by identifying and raising risks and issues with the project team. Ensure key risks to BA deliverables are captured and being actively managed. Provide coaching and mentoring of Business Analysts and/or other team members to support individual development of BA skills and broader BA capability. Facilitate workshop sessions with stakeholders at all levels to gather information relevant for documentation. Support with early identification and analysis of new initiatives, ensuring appropriate stakeholders are engaged and key information is captured to aid planning and sequencing of new work. Previous experience in a Senior Business Analyst or Lead Business Analyst position within a commercial environment. Proven exposure planning and facilitating workshops with various levels of stakeholders. Strong knowledge of contemporary Business and Process Analysis frameworks and methodologies/best practices. Ability to build and sustain effective relationships at all levels. Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Experience in or knowledge of procurement and contract management processes is preferred but not essential. Apply
