As the OT Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and infrastructure optimization for operational technology (OT) systems.This includes safeguarding OT systems, networks, and devices against evolving cyber threats, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, and integrating cybersecurity practices across IT and OT systems.Key responsibilities :Develop and execute a cybersecurity strategy to protect OT systems, networks, and devices from evolving threats.Assess and mitigate risks in OT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443, ISO 27001).Implement security best practices, including network design, access control, and incident response.Collaborate with IT teams to align cybersecurity practices across IT and OT systems.Manage the design, deployment, and upkeep of OT infrastructure to ensure resilience, scalability, and alignment with business needs.Oversee the integration of OT systems (e.g., SCADA, ICS, PLCs) with enterprise IT networks, ensuring secure communication.Implement strategies for network segmentation and data management to improve security and performance.Recommend and implement infrastructure upgrades to optimize performance and security.Lead OT cybersecurity incident response, ensuring swift resolution and proper documentation.Work with internal teams and vendors to investigate breaches, identify root causes, and apply corrective actions.Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and maintain a vulnerability management program that addresses security weaknesses through patching and fixes.Evaluate third-party OT security to minimize external risks.Ensure OT systems comply with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., NERC CIP, NIST, CIS).Perform audits of OT systems and provide reports to leadership and regulators.Keep up with emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies affecting OT systems.Manage budgets for OT cybersecurity and infrastructure projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation.Skills and Experience required :Strong understanding of OT cybersecurity, control systems, and IT infrastructure management.5+ years of experience in OT cybersecurity, industrial control systems, and IT management.Deep knowledge of OT networks, protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, OPC), and systems (e.g., SCADA, PLCs).Expertise in OT-specific cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, IEC 62443).Proficiency in security tools for OT (e.g., firewalls, IDS, vulnerability scanners).Experience in risk assessment, vulnerability management, and incident response within OT.Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively across departments.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address incidents efficiently.Certifications : CISSP, CISM, GIAC (GICSP), or similar.Undertake additional duties as needed, ensuring workplace safety in compliance with WHS requirements.This is a great opportunity for an OT Cyber Specialist to demonstrate their leadership skills with a potential move into Senior Leadership / Executive role.
