Here at Woolies, we have a team called Proactive Services that ensures trolleys are available to use and that our stores are in pristine condition.
This enables our customers (and your colleagues) to experience an environment that is hygienically clean to work and shop in.
You'll work side-by-side with your team whilst bringing a little good to everyone, every day. What you'll do: Drive a trolley collection vehicle and collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs.Push trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle.Collect trolleys left in and around the store and return them to the trolley bays.Carry out all pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle.Follow all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection.Follow all road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys.You may also be required to complete cleaning and waste disposal tasks.What you'll bring: You'll bring an ambitious mindset, a love of retail, and a passion to grow your career in the cleaning and trolley collection space and beyond.You must hold a full (unrestricted) Australian driver's licence, Provisional P2 driver's licence (Green P Plates), or full International driver's licence.Physical fitness is essential for this role, as you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift.Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6 am or 4 pm.A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.Note: Woolworths Group is an inclusive, team-first company committed to breaking down institutional barriers that keep people from reaching their potential.
