About the Role: We are looking for a full-time Trip Support Officer to join our team. You will be working between our Walker's Base in Hadspen and our office in Launceston CBD. You will report to our Regional Experience Manager, acting as the essential link between our operational functions and the guests who are ready to embrace the wild.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Direct Trip Support: Provide on-site assistance to all trips, addressing planned and scheduled support functions.Guest Information Management: Acting on guest information, including dietary restrictions, transportation details, and medical requirements, and distributing via trip notes to guest-facing staff.Deliveries and Stock Management: Order, receive, store, and unpack deliveries efficiently and accurately.Gear and Equipment Management: Monitor and report broken or damaged gear and equipment.Operational Support: Source and procure operational items and requirements as requested, including ordering and managing office supplies.What you will bring: This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about the travel and hospitality industry and the Australian Wilderness!
In addition, you will have: Demonstrated experience in an operational role, preferably within the hospitality and tourism industry, with proven knowledge of trip coordination processes and procedures.Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.Experience using HRIS and rostering systems (Employment Hero).Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol (SITHFAB021).Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety (SITXFSA005) + Participate in Safe Food Handling Practices (SITXFSA006) OR SITSS00069 (Food Safety Supervision Skill Set).Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address rostering challenges proactively.Exceptional organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.Flexibility to work outside regular business hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by operational needs.What we can offer you: Opportunities for ongoing training, social and professional development events.Exclusive pro-deals program for access to discounted adventure gear.Opportunities to experience our other walking products.Family & friend discounts across our walking products.Ready to take the first step on this exciting journey?
