About us The NSW Police Force (NSWPF) is one of the largest police forces in the western world, with more than 20,000 employees, including more than 4,000 administrative employees who support the sworn officers that provide a range of law and order services 24 hours a day, seven days a week to the socially, geographically, and culturally diverse community of NSW.About the role We have an opportunity for a Treating Psychologist to be part of our Workforce Safety, People and Capability Command. The role works in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver outcome-focused, evidence-based treatment for employees suffering a psychological injury. The role provides work-focused interventions that aim to support employees to recover in the workplace or successfully achieve a durable return to work following absence as a result of a work-related psychological injury. We are looking for a motivated psychologist with a passion for therapy and a desire to help NSW Police Force employees navigate recovery from psychological injury. The successful applicant will have a strong knowledge of evidence-based treatments for psychological injuries, be passionate about helping others through psychological therapy, and enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic treatment to our clients. The Treating Psychologist will also have the opportunity to deliver psychoeducation packages to Commands and Leadership teams, offering excellent opportunities to network and build connections within NSW Police Force.
