About the Role: Are you a qualified accountant with a passion for treasury and tax management? We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Treasury & Tax Lead to join our team in Norwest, NSW. In this pivotal role, you will manage our tax, treasury, and insurance functions, ensuring effective cash and liquidity management, debt funding, portfolio investments, and tax compliance. You will also be responsible for maintaining Foundation entity accounts and all related reporting.

As a key member of the Commercial, Strategy & Finance (CSF) team, you will collaborate closely with various departments, including Finance, Business Performance, Strategy & Investments, Legal, Procurement, and Payroll. Your role will involve providing strategic financial leadership, enhancing financial processes, and supporting key strategic initiatives as our organisation seeks to grow both organically and through mergers and acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to): Manage cash and liquidity, ensuring effective cash management, reporting, and bank administration. Assist with the negotiation and documentation of all financing arrangements. Oversee debt facility management, covenant compliance, and reporting. Maintain the Investment Management Policy and Liquidity Management Strategy. Manage and report on portfolio investments. Prepare and lodge BAS, FBT, and Franking Credit refunds. Reconcile profit or loss and balance sheet accounts. Maintain group insurance policies, coordinating submissions and reporting. Account for BaptistCare Foundations, preparing agendas, reports, and minutes. Provide financial reporting and analysis. Maintain actual and forecast cashflow reporting. Conduct strategic investment analysis, modelling, and reporting to inform commercial decisions. Manage statutory accounts for Foundation entities. Analyse insurance to inform risk and peer-aligned decisions. About you: Essential Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Accountant CA or CPA Minimum 3 years treasury function experience Sound experience in cashflow management Debt funding, modelling, and negotiations Preparation of BAS, FBT returns, and Franking credit refunds Preparation of financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders High proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong communication skills Ability to work collaboratively and build key relationships High level of attention to detail and accuracy Experience with Technology One – desirable Aged Care and Community Services sector experience Genuine alignment with BaptistCare's Purpose, Vision & Values.
