This is an exciting opportunity to join Hyundai Capital Australia (HCAU) during our foundational stages! HCAU is currently the consulting entity of Hyundai Capital Services Korea within Australia. We're in the process of establishing a subsidiary in Australia to provide captive-finance services to Hyundai Motor Group (HMG). HMG is Korea's 2nd largest conglomerate focusing on automobiles, auto parts, finance and more.
Hyundai Capital is the financial arm of HMG and the primary goal of its overseas branches is to increase vehicle sales by providing a full spectrum of financial services. We're currently seeking an experienced Treasury Manager with a strong background in securitisation. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our securitisation activities, ensuring that capital and liquidity are efficiently managed. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute strategies to achieve HCAU's business objectives, while adhering to regulatory requirements.
What you'll do: Funding: Support the execution of securitization transactions including investor / lender engagement, deal structuring, due diligence, and investor presentations. Assist with the establishment of other funding instruments such as bank loans and bond issuances where required. Act as the main contact point for our asset data and securitized funding vehicles. Treasury Operations: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and implement Treasury management systems in preparation for securitized funding. Monitor asset performance and generate pool cuts where required. Develop and manage SPV cash flow waterfalls and process and monitor Warehouse drawdowns / repayments. Manage internal bookings of funding vehicles on Treasury Management System to monitor settlements, upcoming maturities and interest payments. Compliance and Risk Management: Assist in managing and maintaining treasury policies and controls to safeguard the company's financial assets. Assist with HCAU's compliance activities, including external audits and business continuity planning. Strong understanding of the securitization industry, including funding structures and key data monitoring requirements. Experience in preparing and analyzing financial data is essential. Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations. Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting is beneficial. Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and maintain precise records. Proficiency in financial software, spreadsheets (Excel), and treasury management systems. Familiarity with ERP systems and banking platforms is advantageous. Effective communication skills to liaise with banks, internal and other external stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and convey financial information clearly to non-financial colleagues. What we offer you :) A flexible hybrid working environment.
