Your New Role
Reporting to the GM Finance, you will lead the treasury team - including a couple highly talented analysts to deliver 1st class funding, hedging, debt advisory and transaction execution, refinancing, cash forecasting, draw downs, international debt sourcing (Asia, Europe). A strategic, commercial, hands-on leadership role awaits you. Further, you'll engage with the board, shareholders, executive management, bankers, advisors, finance team, operations, and more. Custodian of the group's financial model, you'll provide scenario analysis, perform the group's valuation, and monitor/plan cash requirements for project financing activities. Stakeholder engagement would be a critical part of your role, confidently presenting, supporting strategy, providing updates, assessments, commercial and business analysis, project reporting, and ad hoc analysis for key stakeholders on the ELT and/or Board.
Your Profile
Are you the treasury manager we are after? Can you make the numbers sing, telling the complex story in an easily digestible message? Have you funded projects exceeding $1bn, big end of town stuff? Love a good hedge in the morning, and draw downs in the afternoon, providing mark to market (MTM) valuations on occasion? Perhaps you are a Hotshot insto player ready to move corporate? Or maybe a debt advisor tired of client nonsense, uncooperative lenders, fluctuating markets with bonuses not materialising? Maybe you are already a corporate treasury professional but growing stale looking after transactional banking? I bet you are ready to reignite the fire by doing deals and adding real value. You certainly enjoy a challenge, are a strategic commercially minded finance professional who wants to make a real impact - immediately. You are a leader, someone who knows what good looks like and happy to take your team on the journey with you.
