We are seeking a Treasury and Insurance Team Leader to manage our liquidity needs, oversee insurance activities, and develop strategies for our debt portfolio.
You'll play a key role in interpreting financial information to support our decision-making and deliver timely insights to the Board and Executive.This is a permanent full-time opportunity.
If you're a strategic thinker with a passion for excellence, we want to hear from you!Your Role in ActionLead and continue to grow your team through ongoing development.Manage liquidity requirements of the business and ensure activities are in line with our Treasury Management Standard.Analyse, interpret and evaluate business and financial information to support effective and accurate decision-making processes.Communicate with the Board, Executive and Treasury Management Committee to support the decision-making process on financial risks and potential management strategies.Develop and manage strategies to manage Western Power's significant debt portfolio.Maintain business relationships with our key external stakeholders.Oversee insurance related activities including insurance renewal process and insurance claims.Continuously improve the effectiveness of the claims management process.What Makes You a Great FitA broad knowledge within a financial or commercial environment or related area requiring an advanced understanding of diverse practices and principles.A bachelor's degree in finance, business, or equivalent discipline.Extensive commercial experience in a large corporate/treasury/insurance environment including cash flow management and forecasting; debt portfolio management; exposure to financial market instruments; and insurance and claims management.Demonstrated business acumen, comprehensive analytical skills and exposure to risk management and governance processes.Strong organisation and time management abilities to manage several priorities.Demonstrated leadership, influencing, communication and interpersonal skills.By joining Western Power, you will contribute to powering a cleaner energy future.
