The Treasury Analyst role offers the right candidate an entry into corporate Treasury, where the role will focus mostly on task-based objectives that are fundamental to a career in this profession.
You will be able to work autonomously and be open to change to improve daily processes and adapt to Fortescue business changes.
You'll collaborate within the Treasury team, internal teams and external banking partners, using tools like SAP, FIS's Integrity, and PowerBI to provide critical insights and support key financial processes.

Key Responsibilities Confirming and settling Treasury transactions using Treasury systems and complying with Treasury Policies Ensure data integrity of Treasury system by reconciling settlements to bank statements Daily bank reconciliations in SAP for Group Treasury bank accounts Monthly GL reconciliations for Treasury bank accounts Processing of manual payment requests in various systems Support annual audit requirements Support Treasury cost centre forecasting and budgeting process, including support of Treasury vendor payments Provide analysis and support PowerBI reporting requirements of Treasury Operations Qualifications and Experience Demonstrated experience in commercial accounting or corporate treasury Degree in Finance and/or Accounting or equivalent Strong analytical abilities Attention to detail Time management skills Financial acumen.
