Tourism Consultant Specialising in First Nations Tourism Tourism consultant specialising in First Nations tourism
TRC Tourism is seeking expressions of interest for a consultant with knowledge and expertise relevant to First Nations tourism. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with First Nations people identifying and developing meaningful and authentic experiences that respect and celebrate First Nations cultures.
Key Responsibilities
Work with First Nations people across Australia to help identify and bring new tourism experiences to the market. Develop strategies with First Nations people that promote cultural sustainability and economic empowerment. Advise on best practices for engaging with First Nations communities. Undertake extensive community engagement. Qualifications
Strong understanding of First Nations culture and tourism and experience in working in this space. Proven experience in consulting or project management preferably in the tourism sector. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including effective writing. Ability to travel. Why Join TRC Tourism?

The Role
TRC has offices in both Jindabyne NSW and Alice Springs NT, however flexible work base and location arrangements may be negotiated.
Work is variable and project based, where hours can vary from 1 to 2 days a week to full time. We see the role as a casual engagement or flexible contract initially, with scope to build to a more regular or permanent role.
