About the role:
Trax Hire has an opportunity for a motivated & capable BDM / Account Manager to join our team in Bathurst NSW.
You will establish yourself as a subject matter expert for our customers and build their trust through honesty and outstanding customer service.
Reporting to the General Manager – Director, and working closely with the workshop and accounts teams, you will be responsible for maintaining & growing existing accounts and winning new business within your assigned territory.
In this role you will:
Manage & grow the existing customer base.
Establish yourself as an industry client solutions partner.
Spend majority of your time in the field by conducting customer site visits that strengthen business relationships.
Identify and convert new sales opportunities aligned with business sales plans.
Conduct regular cold calling, increasing awareness of Trax Hire's product range & establishing yourself as the lead point of contact.
Build & strengthen relationships with existing & potential customers, attending customer events, trade shows & conferences.
Prepare quotes for hire & support tender submissions.
Communicate effectively with the operations team to support sales activity & ensure exceptional customer service is delivered.
Maintain accurate client data in our rental management system.
What We're Looking For:
A hunter's mentality.

Sales experience in the equipment rental industry (preferred but not essential).
A passion to provide the best possible service levels to your clients.
Strong ability & willingness to cold call, in person & by phone.
Record of success in attracting & retaining new business.
Capacity to work safely & autonomously in the field.
Resilience & the ability to overcome obstacles & find solutions.
Well-developed written, verbal, and interpersonal communication, negotiation, conflict resolution & relationship building skills.

A one-off bonus of $800 (gross) payable to the successful applicants upon successful completion of their probation period.
