This position doesn't have a home base. You will be travelling to different communities and essentially living out of your suitcase!

To succeed in this role, you have to be flexible, adventurous and adaptable. You have to have a knack for building strong relationships with existing employees and community stakeholders.

What does a day look like for a CDP Travelling Support Officer?
As the Travelling Support Officer for our Community Development Program (CDP) you will travel across Arnhem Land to support ALPA's 10 CDP Sites as required e.g. to cover vacancies while we recruit, cover roles when employees go on annual leave and to give extra support to sites when its required. While working you will get to immerse yourself with the longest living culture in the world!

Our stores seek to offer customers a choice of quality fresh foods and an extensive range of merchandise in a modern, comfortable shopping environment. Maintaining this quality service is a costly and demanding task. It is undertaken without subsidy and with limited infrastructure in the most isolated regions of Australia.
