About the role We are currently seeking Travelling Registered Nurses to join our CCU, Surgical, Medical, and End of Life Care teams at Calvary Hobart.
Medical Registered Nurses The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective, and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment. The Acute medical unit is a twenty-five bed unit offering cardiac, respiratory, and general medicine. The unit supports the admission via our Emergency Department. Applicants will require at least 3 years' relevant experience.
Neurosurgical/Cardio-Thoracic Registered Nurses The neurosurgical and cardio-thoracic ward is a twenty-two bed ward specialising in neuro and cardiothoracic surgery. The unit has a supportive team environment with the opportunity for individuals to grow their acute care skills in two complex specialities. There is a strong leadership team to offer ongoing support and mentoring. Applicants will require at least 3 years' experience working in a similar setting.
The Critical Care Unit The Critical Care Unit is an 11 bed combined ICU, HDU, CCU with a key focus on Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, and Interventional Cardiology.
If you can simply pack your bags and get ready to go, Calvary will take care of your travel logistics with provided flights, accommodation, and a Living Away from Home Allowance (LAFHA) to cover meal expenses.
What you bring Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse. Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently, and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills.
