These techs must have intimate knowledge of procedures such as g-tube placement, central line, chemo, etc. The IR/INR labs require the techs to be licensed RAD techs.

Is on-call REQ? Yes – will be on buddy call with their manager for the first few nights of orientation then with the other full-time nurse. Weekend call will start on their first week, then will be on an every-other weekend basis. Call commitment is approximately 33% of the month, which roughly translates to 10-14 shifts per month depending on RTO of the team. Weekday call starts when the team is finished for the day, generally by 17:45 till 07:15 the next morning. Saturday is a workday if scheduled then call starts when the team is finished for the day; Sunday is call only. So typically, if it the individual's weekend to work/take call, it will be Friday- Sunday (Monday @07:15).
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes – TBD by unit's needs. May be asked to float to sister facilities.
