About the Role
Due to our continued growth/success, we are looking for suitably experienced Travel Co-ordinator to join our HR team in Perth office. Reporting to our Chief of People, the role will be responsible for coordinating travel, roster and accommodation for our employees and site personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Co-ordinating all travel arrangements for employees and sub-contractors across our projects.
Working closely with our Project Managers and Operations Teams, managing high volumes of workforce travel arrangements and implement roster and flight schedules.
Liaising with our travel partner to ensure best fares, travel credits and airline memberships are maximised.
Efficient mobilisation coordination which includes rostering, flights and accommodation for employees and sub-contractors across all projects.
Handle rostering changes efficiently, ensuring effective communication and necessary travel arrangements are in place.
Working closely with PMs and Operations Manager,
Managing budgets, cost control, travel credits and airline memberships to maximise cost efficiencies and rewards points.
Identifying temporary and long term accommodation options in major cities, regional areas and project locations as well as ensuring accommodation has relevant furniture.
Liaising and negotiating with camp managers, real estate agents/property managers, travel partner and/or airlines using various booking systems.
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain accurate information and correspondence in internal systems and ensure compliance through effective reporting.
Providing regular reporting and data analysis on travel budgets, expenditure, forecasting etc
About You
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;
Minimum 3 years' experience in travel co-ordination, accommodation, project administration and rostering within the Construction or Resources sector.
Project admin and/or site mobilisation experience highly desirable.
Previous experience with travel portals (eg. Corporate Traveller) for bookings and itinerary management would be desirable.
Strong computer skills specifically with Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication skills with all levels of stakeholders.
Impeccable attention to detail and demonstrated time management and coordination skills.
