Overview About the Role As a Travel Claims Consultant, you'll provide a cost effective, professional and customer focused general insurance claims service relating to the processing of Travel Claims.
You will play a key role in providing the highest level of customer service and claims advice to Commonwealth Government Agencies in the management of Travel vehicle claims for an interesting and unique portfolio and client.

How you'll make an impact Your responsibilities will include: Undertaking end to end claims management of an interesting and unique portfolio of Motor Vehicle claims for an established client contractProviding a high-level customer service to all internal and external partnersAssessing travel insurance claims with the application of policy wording and guidelinesRaising payments and settling claims with client service instructions, company guidelines and delegated authorityResolving complaints in accordance with company guidelinesFinding opportunities for process improvement and recognise potential fraud/recovery indicators for claims where applicableEnsuring attention to detail with data integrity which directly correlates to GB's fee invoicing and the reconciliation of client bank accounts About you We're interested in hearing from people who possess: Australian Citizenship (Essential - our successful candidate must undergo Commonwealth Security Clearance which required Australian Citizenship)Travel claims handling or general claims management experiencePassion and drive to take ownership of your own portfolio of claimsOutstanding attention to detail, organisational and time management skillsExcellent interpersonal, spoken and written communication skills What we can offer you:
