The travel team is part of the procurement services group that provides a centralised Procurement Function to the Queensland Police Service.As part of the travel team, you will be working in a small team that administers the QTravel Program within the QPS.The QPS Travel Team liaises with all areas of the QPS and several suppliers within the travel industry.You will be supporting frontline staff with a range of duties including domestic and international bookings, dangerous goods enquiries, witness and prisoner travel, reporting, and reconciliation processes.No two days are the same, so if you can show initiative, possess attention to detail, and a 'can do attitude', you will fit right in.Your Key AccountabilitiesThe core capability requirements for this role are:Contribute to and assist in developing governance materials that support the Travel function in QPS and its partner agencies.Provide guidance, support, and mentor team members in building reporting and technical capability to achieve optimal business and service delivery outcomes.Monitor and escalate system performance indicators and issues regarding the Travel System.Participate in and contribute to Whole-of-Government working groups regarding Travel Administration.Undertake Travel System and financial data maintenance activities in support of agency needs and requirements.Oversee and manage the delivery of day-to-day Travel System helpdesk services for quality, accuracy, and timeliness of responses.
