Guided by our vision, we are leveraging the power of our leading edge technology and focusing on the uniqueness of each individual to create the future of health.As a global-leading health and well-being provider encompassing physical, mental and financial health, TELUS Health is improving health outcomes for consumers, patients, healthcare professionals, employers, and employees.The role titled as Critical Incident Specialist in the business is multifaceted, involving direct intervention in workplace incidents, providing support and guidance to corporate clients, and consulting on complex service requests.This role is crucial in maintaining workplace stability and supporting employees through challenging times.Key Responsibilities:Conduct a thorough initial assessment of the current workplace environment and implement a structured follow-up with the corporate customers, adhering to guidelines.Offer comprehensive crisis management support, including trauma and workplace violence consultations.Offer critical incident services and coordinate responses for complex trauma events.Coordinate clinical response for critical incidents and complex trauma events.Provide critical incident response support with psychological first aid, group psychoeducation sessions, and individual support and intervention for workplace-related critical incidents.Follow TELUS Health policies, procedures, and documentation practices.Support assigned roles in projects and department clinical initiatives.Submit all required documentation such as reports, timesheets, invoices, and expense forms promptly.Participate in team meetings and supervisions.Ability to travel to various work locations within home state and some potential for interstate travel.What are we looking for:Qualification in Psychology / Counselling / Social work.Professional registration with relevant health body (AHPRA, AASW, PACFA).3 years post-graduate clinical experience.Knowledge of the impact of critical incidents, trauma in the workplace, effect on organizations and employees.Excellent report writing skills from a clinical perspective.What We Are Offering:Flexible working arrangements and opportunity to work from home when not required onsite.Access to peer consultation and external supervision.Access to hundreds of professional development courses to help you further your clinical skills as you see fit.Career progression - for the right clinicians, there are opportunities to further your career into leadership positions or specialist services.Other benefits include wellbeing days, volunteer days, and a generous parental leave policy.A bit about us:We're a people-focused, customer-first, purpose-driven team who works together every day to innovate and do good.
