The NTRI is located with the Alfred Medical Research and Education Precinct (AMREP) at The Alfred campus in Melbourne, Australia.
The NTRI supports the clinical care provided by The Alfred Trauma Services. The NTRI works with organisations nationally and internationally to prevent and reduce the impact of severe injury by integrating research, education, biotechnologies, and trauma system development to improve clinical care and outcomes.
What you'll be doing The Alfred Trauma Registry Manager supports the Trauma Program, focusing on performance monitoring, quality improvement, education, and research.Requires strong interpersonal, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work independently.Responsible for providing trauma data to The Alfred Trauma Service, Victorian State Trauma Registry, and Australian and New Zealand Trauma Registry.About you Essential Competence in relevant computer programs, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook).Relevant Post Graduate qualification, preferably at the Master's level (or working towards it).Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.Demonstrated initiative and self-direction.Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of the role.Experience in trauma or relevant acute healthcare delivery systems at a senior health professional level.Experience with quality improvement and performance monitoring.Experience in managing staff and business unit budgets.Experience in clinical audit and peer review processes.Research, publication, and public speaking skills.Operational and performance analysis skills.High level knowledge of human anatomy and medical procedures.Desirable Recent relevant role in a Major Trauma Service.Research project management experience.Experience in managing and reporting large datasets.Experience in database administration.Knowledge and/or familiarity with International Classification of Disease (ICD) coding, activity-based funding, and Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) coding.Benefits Salary Packaging & Novated Leasing through Maxxia.Flexible Heath Insurance coverage through HCF Health Insurance.On-site car & bike parking opportunities, Deducted Pre-Tax!!Fantastic onsite fitness facilities at The Alfred through ProSport Health and Fitness.Child Care Services at The Alfred managed by KU Children's Services.If applicable, specify specific requirements that you require in the cover letter or CV.
