General Manager - Professional Services - RecruitmentTransport Manager - Large Global Distributor Are you an experienced logistics and supply chain professional ready to take on a dynamic and rewarding leadership role? We are seeking a Transport Manager to join a fast-paced, customer-focused team within the distribution sector.
This position offers a competitive salary range of up to A$130,000 + super and a company performance-based bonus.
About the Role As the Transport Manager, you will oversee all aspects of inbound logistics and transport activities across Australia and New Zealand. This role involves working closely with local and international stakeholders to optimize supply chain efficiency with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the transport and receiving team.Ensure timely and accurate processing of inbound deliveries.Oversee shipment data recording, including weight, space availability, and discrepancies.Optimize transport flows to achieve the best cost/quality/time balance.Build and maintain relationships with transport providers.Monitor and report on market conditions affecting operations.Coach, mentor, and lead a team of warehouse supervisors, staff, and logistics coordinators.About You • Proven experience in warehouse and transport management, preferably in a high-volume environment.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes and WHS legislation.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to implement cost-effective, efficient solutions.
