About the role:
An opportunity for a full-time permanent role exists for an experienced and capable transport and logistics professional to join Andrews Meat Industries located in Lidcombe, NSW.
You'll work autonomously and with the Transport team to coordinate efficient transport movements through effective communication with multiple stakeholders including suppliers, customers, and our fleet of contractors and internal drivers.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Mentor, influence and assist the transport team to become skilled at building relationships with AMI customers Troubleshoot daily operational problems that arise including locating missing boxes and resolving unexpected challenges/roadblocks Partake in continuous improvement including optimising delivery routes Maintain a safe working environment, including ensuring safe loading of product Manage vehicle maintenance and cleanliness Manage domestic and regional freight invoicing Conduct weekly toolbox talks Participate in compliance, customer and internal audits Assist in ongoing compliance to Chain of Responsibility for heavy vehicles Manage team of delivery drivers including training and partaking in recruitment of staff for the division, as required Other tasks as reasonably directed by the Transport Manager About you:
Hold a current MR NSW Driver's License Must have experience in supervision or management with proven ability to lead, manage and motivate staff Experience in transport/logistics and fleet management Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills Effective problem-solving capacity Sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility legislation What next?
