Expect all this and more when you join us at BevChain.What does the job look like?The Transport Supervisor is ultimately responsible for the safe and cost-effective management of transport operations throughout our Kemps Creek BevChain site.
You will be responsible for meeting our commitment to a tier one beverage customer through the provision of quality, service, and operational efficiency.Working in collaboration with our people, every finding you make will be determined with safety, service, and cost, partnering closely with the customer and sub-contracting companies to exceed operational and financial metrics.
You will be supporting an iconic brand so that Australians can enjoy their favourite beverages!
This is a permanent position, operating Monday – Friday | 5am – 1pm.
Key areas:Supervise the day-to-day operations of the transport function to ensure seamless execution.Effective management and development of direct reports and driver workforce to provide efficiency.Ensure the operation is providing a high level of service offerings to customers through a proactive approach to relationship management and commitment to achieving contracted KPI's.Consistently communicate with the on-site customer and other external stakeholders to ensure their demands are satisfied.Analyse equipment and operational tasks to deliver productive outcomes through resource utilisation, route optimisation and subcontractor management.Promote a safety-first culture and ensure commitment to Safety, COR and Quality and Compliance requirements.Operational responsibility with a focus on driving improvement and innovation.Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote continuous improvement.Are you the one?This is a pivotal role requiring a supply chain professional with experience within a fast-paced logistics environment.

You can demonstrate:Strong experience in the Transport/Logistics industry.Ability to lead and develop a large, high-performance team.Possessing a commitment to processes, analytical thinking, and methodical approaches with proficiency in diverse system capabilities.Ability to showcase self-motivation for accomplishing and driving operational results.Understanding of Heavy Vehicle National Law and regulations.Knowledge of CoR legislation and safety practices.Experience in managing sub-contractors and 3PL partners.Transport scheduling/planning and TMS experience.At Linfox, we focus on providing an inclusive and diverse workplace where our people can perform at their best.
