This also means we are often faced with challenging situations and it's due to the diversity of our people and the feeling of empowerment they have to speak up and be part of a solution that we can overcome them.We're nimble and responsive, creating opportunities for our great people to realise their career goals, or simply be part of a great team where they belong.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure all deliveries are made in correct manner and time frame and monitor driver creditsMaintain vehicles ensuring services are carried out when and as requiredEnsure staff evaluation, recruitment and training procedures are adhered toEnsure wages, budgets and freight charges are kept within guidelinesFollow company procedures relating to any issues raised regarding driversInvolve and receive feedback from supervisors daily/ongoingFleet management on a daily basis for vehicle uptime and scheduled servicingManagement of the chain of responsibilityCo-ordinate effective and efficient routing of all trucks and staff to ensure maximum delivery and serviceRegular discussion with Sales Representatives in regards to customer requirements and driver feedbackAttend daily sales, operations and credit meetings.Identify credits, daily collection of invoice to be presentedKey Competencies, Skills and QualificationsKnowledge of the Food Service Distributions industryPossess AFM AccreditationThe ability to communicate at all levelsAbility to work under pressure with good time management skillsSound knowledge of routing systems and ERP systems such as MFG PROPrior proven experience in people managementA solid knowledge of HACCP and OH & S regulations including BFM legislationGood product knowledge and new customersFlexible and reliableHR trucklicense (advantageous)Be a problem solver externally and internallyWhat PFD is Offering the Successful CandidateWe are offering competitive remuneration, superannuation and other staff benefits (such as discounts on staff purchases, discounted accommodation, health insurance and banking).Please submit your application via the apply now link belowAs part of our recruitment process, do you agree to undertake employment checks?
