What you will enjoy doing Deliveries to plan made in safest and most efficient way whilst also adhering to the Elgas customer promise You will be assisting with the development of improved processes and procedures to improve the quality and accuracy of bulk/cylinder delivery schedules and subsequent reduced costs Where identified, you will drive and implement improved scheduling opportunities Further you will work closely with other members of the logistics team to identify efficiency improvements and achieve financial targets Monitor customer data for accuracy, monitor customer usage, review and update delivery frequency in line with changing customer/business needs In addition, you will monitor driver performance and report to Manager whilst also assisting with ongoing driver development and training Closely monitor all safety measures in accordance with State and Federal Transport regulations What makes you great You have strong systems skills including use of automated scheduling tools and a proven High Level experience with business/logistics analysis High level numeracy and Excel skills are required in this role, as well as strong customer focus Conscientious and attention to detail Moreover you have proven ability to work well under pressure You own excellent oral and written communication in dealing with all levels in the Supply Chain Takes ownership of the processes & tasks engaged Ability to work unsupervised and meet tight deadlines Why you will love working with us At Linde we identify ourselves with our products – either working for the technical or medical gases business.
