In this role, you'll: Join our Transport Services Planning team as a Transport Planning Officer, where you will contribute to the development of service plans and timetable solutions for regional and outer metropolitan public transport passengers.
You will contribute to the delivery of a range of Transport Planning projects, including place-based planning, integrated network planning, as well as major and minor projects and initiatives.
You will also be involved in the following:
Research, collate, consolidate, analyse, review and prepare draft documentation for the Transport Services Planning team.Support project planning, analysis and reporting to ensure project milestones are met and accurate progress updates, risks and issues are communicated.Work collaboratively with specialist teams within our branch structure and across TfNSW divisions to ensure the best possible planning outcomes.This is a temporary full time position up to 12 months duration.
The role offers hybrid working from our Pitt Street Sydney office and therefore it is a requirement that the successful candidate live within Greater Sydney.
About you: You are an energetic and determined individual who values learning and development, and are looking to take the next step in your professional career.
You have recently obtained relevant qualifications and/or some work experience in planning or operations, and you have a genuine interest in working in public transport planning.
You are an organised and customer focused person who can demonstrate time management and prioritisation skills.
You will be able to manage and action a high volume of varied requests and enjoy interacting with a wide range of team members with warmth and sensitivity.
