Position Summary:

As Transport Planner in the team, you will help deliver on a range of projects, in the areas of transport planning and modelling, across PBUs/clients in the transport infrastructure and built environment sectors.
Key Job Areas:

As member of the Transport Planning team you will be responsible for: Working on traffic and revenue forecasting studies and modelling projects Organising traffic surveys and data analysis Assist in transport model development.
Tasks may include but not limited to network building, checking and analysis.
Delivery of assigned tasks to timescales and budgets.
Assist in preparation of technical reports.
Continuous improvement in various aspects of transport planning To work to a high technical and quality standard.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Masters in Transport Planning/Engineering with 4 - 6 years professional experience Good written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical skills Experience in traffic and revenue forecasting studies and knowledge of developing transport models.
Geographic information system (GIS) expertise (MAPINFO and ARCINFO) will be of considerable value.
Excellent working knowledge of MS Office tools, particularly MS Excel Ability to work well in a team environment and independently with limited supervision
