Our Client: A leading home & kitchen appliances company in Australia is looking for a Supply Chain Administrator to join the team for 6 months.
The role will be based out of their site in Southwest Sydney.
Remit: This role looks at the capacity planning and delivery process to the local market, working closely with the Logistics Team and Customers to improve delivery times and better customer outcomes.
This will include examining the capacity of deliveries and returns (reverse logistics) and implementing a plan to optimise schedules to ensure capacity meets demand, the fleet is utilised, and delivers better outcomes on DIFOT and customer service.
The role may also look to incorporate some route optimisation further down the line.
Success Profile: We are looking for an experienced Transport Planner who has previously worked in FMCG, Retail, or a similar industry and has a proven track record of success in setting up processes and improving transport planning capabilities.
It is important that they are comfortable in a set-up role and can work effectively without systems and processes supporting them.
They will be a problem solver, data-savvy, and able to communicate, collaborate, negotiate, and influence stakeholders internally and externally.
It is crucial that they have a can-do, will-do attitude, be customer-centric, and as an expert in their space, be confident in adding value and delivering working solutions to improve the transport planning process.
