Job Description The role We are seeking a positive, experienced Transport Planner/Allocator to take strategic ownership of port slotting and metropolitan delivery activities. The Transport Planner will work closely with a dedicated team to achieve the best utilisation of fleet assets based in our modern facility in Lytton.

As the Planner/Allocator, you will:
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers and management to ensure high service levels are met.Provide a high level of customer service, updating on delivery issues or delays.Coordinate and plan container movements in a timely, safe and cost-effective manner.Coordinate Biosecurity inspections on site Complete DNV Transport training as required by the business.Qualifications About you To be successful in this role, you will need:
Experience in Planner/Fleet Control within Transport Operations.Effective communication and liaise with management – written and verbal.Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills – Excel, Word, and Outlook. The capability to work within a team environment and autonomously.A high level of planning and organisational skills.A comprehensive knowledge of industry regulations and fatigue management legislation would be an advantage.Sound geographical knowledge of South East Queensland.Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and adapt to varying situations.Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.Experience in 1 stop and container chain Highly regardedExperience in Freight Tracker software Highly regardedAdditional Information Be Connected With a bold vision and innovative drive, join our 14 Truck Fleet as we lead industry change and transform how customers best meet their supply chain needs in a meaningful and sustainable way.
