About the Role : As a member of the MKD team, you will be joining a small group based at our partner's customer distribution center in Western Sydney. The planner / allocator is responsible for effective planning, delegating, coordinating, staffing, organizing, and decision-making to ensure the contract-specific accountabilities are met while exceeding all safety, operational, commercial, and legislative expectations for the organization. This role includes maintaining company TMS & Freight Tracker systems along with various spreadsheets. Duties associated with this role include, but are not limited to :
Ensure WHS / QA and business improvement programs, environmental, Risk and Human Resources Standards and Codes of Practices, are meeting regulatory, compliance, contract, and business standards.Managing, coordinating, and allocating runs for drivers and vehicles.Ensuring daily load plans are efficiently structured.Planning / allocating regional & country loads.Liaising with customers and customer site staff.Monitoring driver performance and on-time performance.Communicating clear expectations to drivers.Implementing strong fatigue management strategies.Are you the missing piece to our puzzle?
