Transport Operations Supervisor - Randstad

Located in Melbourne's North-West suburbs, Our client is a well known organisation that is currently looking for an experienced Transport Operations Supervisor to join the team.

The Opportunity As the Transport Operations Supervisor some of the responsibilities required to perform but not limited to are: Daily management of the business to achieve planned/budgeted KPIs, cost outcomes, safety measures, and service levels Performing quality checks on materials/stock and identify and report damages, shortages, or quality deficiencies Foster and enhance a culture that takes pride in its performance, delivery and work environment and seeks to continually improve Working alongside Truck Drivers and Operations Support areas to ensure the operation of the shift runs according to plan Maintain strong relationships with internal & external customers to ensure high standards of service delivery.
Ensure a high level of compliance with OH&S requirements and enhance an organised and clean working environment.
Keeping updated records of inventory and activity logs Ensuring the efficient, safe, and secure loading, unloading, movement and packing of merchandise/materials/stock Skills & experience To be considered for this role you must possess the following: A minimum of three years experience in a similar position.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Possesses a problem-solving mentality and analytical nature.
