Transport Manager Location: Deeside


Salary: £30,000 – 40,000 + pension + 26 days holiday + bank holidays + benefits


Hours: Mon – Friday day time


A genuinely superb & quite unique opportunity for a Transport Manager to join a market leading business to help setting up and shaping a department.


The Job:Working closely with the Warehouse and Logistics Managers ensure operations are efficient and cost effective.Analyse and optimize transport routes to minimize costs, time, and environmental impact.Collaborate with third-party transport providers, negotiating contracts and monitoring their performance.Work closely with the warehouse, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure seamless coordination across departments.Monitor transport expenses, seek cost-saving opportunities, and prepare budgets for transport operations.The Person:Experience gained in a similar role ideally working with 3PL.Positive, friendly, good communication skills and a desire to learn, grow and develop.Experience in coordinating and optimizing transportation logistics, including route planning and fleet management.Familiarity with transport regulations and compliance standards at local, national, and international levels.Practical experience with transport management systems (TMS) and route optimization tools an advantage.May suit a transport coordinator or similar seeking a step up.To apply please send CV to Tim Fawcett at Control Recruitment Solutions or call the office number.
