Lift Truck Specialists Pty Ltd is a family-owned, local business operating from a state-of-the-art facility in Wendouree.
Since 2004, we have supplied materials handling equipment throughout Victoria via our sales and service centre, and we provide forklift hire and servicing for a growing clientele.
We pride ourselves on efficiency and high-quality service.
We are looking for a full-time Transport Manager to oversee our large customer base and fleet operations.
This role involves managing all transport logistics related to our rental equipment and coordinating with our fleet team to ensure smooth operations.
Your duties will include, but not be limited to: Coordinating and overseeing the transportation of rental equipment, ensuring timely deliveries and collections using both in-house services and subcontractors.Managing all transport bookings related to the delivery and collection of rental units and ensuring appropriate follow-up on any required paperwork.Acting as the primary contact for all customer inquiries related to transport logistics, responding promptly to both phone and email requests.Ensuring all outgoing rental equipment is prepared, fully serviced, and placed in the outgoing area for transport.Collaborating with the fleet and service departments to ensure any damaged equipment is reported and addressed promptly upon return from customers.Ensuring the timely completion of all pre-hire and de-hire jobs for rental equipment, both short-term and long-term.Coordinating with subcontractors for transportation services when required, ensuring that all logistics are completed efficiently and safely.Managing all fleet scheduling and logistics operations, ensuring all transport activities are carried out within established timeframes.Reporting on the status of fleet and transport operations, making recommendations for improvement where necessary.A component of the role will include transportation and operation of all hire equipment.
