What does the job look like? We are currently seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator to join our team in Newman. This position will work an 8 on and 6 off roster, 6am – 6pm. You will be responsible for maintaining an efficient and productive operation ensuring outcomes are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner. Key areas:
Oversee scheduling and fleet utilisation to maximise profitabilityCoordinate rosters, load plans and other operational issues on a day-to-day basisMonitor staff KPI's including delivery window targetsData entry into SAP including payroll, billing and data processingBuild and maintain an effective and successful relationship with the customer and all key stakeholdersResponsible for managing site WH&S policies & procedures including injury management and reporting in addition to maintaining safety and training compliance registers and fatigue managementAre you the one? As a tech savvy individual with a high attention to detail and excellent time management, you will have a strong commitment to drive safety and compliance across our business. Your ability to work in an open, collaborative, and inclusive manner will ensure success in this role. You can demonstrate:
Previous experience in a similar role within a transport operations environmentA strong understanding of fatigue management, load restraint and mass managementDetailed knowledge of transportation and warehousing and/or receipting functionsStrong work ethic with a passion for industry and commitment to continuous improvementExperience using Excel and SAP will be highly regardedManual C Class Licence will be essentialAbility to adapt to changing demands and pressuresAt Linfox, we are passionate about creating an inclusive workplace where people can perform at their best.
