Join Expeditors and have a chance to grow, thrive, and fulfill your potential.Job DescriptionAs a Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of Air, LCL, and FCL shipments in accordance with customer delivery instructions utilizing Expeditors approved transport providers whilst avoiding/minimizing storage and detention charges.
You will have the autonomy to provide exceptional customer service both internally and externally while applying the company standards and processes to effectively handle smooth deliveries, ensuring compliance with company and government regulations at all times.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers and service providers to ensure a compliant and complete shipment process in a timely manner while documenting customer needs for future use and striving for excellence.Operational Excellence: Take ownership of understanding and complying with Expeditors internal process standards to complete timely, accurate, and compliant deliveries, customer billings, and system updates.Service Provider Relationships: Build strong partnerships with Service Providers including shipping lines, transport companies, and freight yards to ensure your client is serviced to a high level.Qualifications:Competent use of Microsoft Excel & WordExperience with Expedient and the ICS system preferred but not necessaryCourteous communication and phone mannerProactive approach to problem-solving
